Job Duties

  • Execute initial purchase order allocations and manage replenishment to ensure timely, accurate inventory flow and strong in-stock performance for assigned departments or categories.

  • Monitor and optimize store inventory levels to achieve sales, service, and in-stock goals.

  • Maintain and optimize replenishment programs, including key inventory parameters such as min/max levels, to support store demand.

  • Identify opportunities to maximize sales through improved allocation, size optimization, and inventory balancing across store locations.

  • Analyze business performance and develop actionable insights using Business Intelligence tools and Microsoft Excel.

  • Track inbound purchase orders, communicate risks, and partner cross-functionally to mitigate inventory and supply chain issues.

  • Prepare and present allocation strategies using key retail metrics such as APS (Average Per Store) and Weeks of Supply (WOS).

  • Partner with the Buying, Planning, and Store teams on assortment needs, allocation strategies, and product flow.

  • Participate in business reviews and cross-functional meetings to contribute insights and drive decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 2+ years of retail allocation, planning, or merchandising experience.

  • Highly motivated and results oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver against inventory and service-level targets.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners including Buying, Planning, and Store teams.

  • Ability to present allocation strategies and action plans to leadership.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions, including a solid understanding of retail math concepts such as APS, Weeks of Supply, and replenishment.

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Must have strong technical skills;specificallyMicrosoft Excel and Business Intelligence software.

  • Experience with allocation systems and Planning and Allocation tools preferred; Oracle Retail a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
