Job description

Duties * Prepare final study reports and decision briefings on major planning and programming strategies. * Develop overall portfolio plan and baseline with cost, schedule, and performance parameters to provide capabilities to meet validated operational requirements. * Examine reports to determine the effect of unforeseen developments and difficulties regarding resources throughout the organization. * Ensure optimal allocation of funds to minimize discrepancies. * Conduct cost and economic analyses to prepare for leadership briefings. * Provide essential resource management support, including program evaluation and developing short and long-range program plans based on organizational program requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time. * This is a Financial Management Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program. * FM Certification Level 3 is required. * This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. * This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
