About the Role
We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) for a contract opportunity with W. W. Hastings Hospital under Cherokee Nation. This is a strong opportunity for a candidate with sterile processing experience who is looking for a steady hospital-based assignment supporting OR / PACU operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support sterile processing functions for surgical services
  • Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
  • Maintain proper instrument handling and sterile storage procedures
  • Support OR / PACU workflow through timely processing and turnaround of supplies and trays
  • Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety standards at all times
  • Assist with inventory control and supply organization as needed

Requirements

  • Sterile Processing Tech experience required
  • Hospital or surgical services experience preferred
  • Knowledge of sterile processing standards, infection control, and instrument handling
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
