Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across the site. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring your strong communication skills to a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, badge verification, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. * Monitor access points, screen authorized entry, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unsecured doors, gates, or restricted areas. * Support Allied Universal and site personnel during shifts by completing detailed reports, relaying important information, and following post orders related to security-related operations and emergency procedures. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
