You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. * Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. * Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity, and report irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. * Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. * Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
