Job Opportunity

Position: MRI Technologist

Shift Details
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Start Time: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
  • End Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours
  • Holiday Rotation: Required
  • On-Call Requirements: One weeknight (Sunday - Thursday) and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) every 10th weekend
Holiday Requirements

Contractors may be required to work 1-2 of the following Summer holidays unless the unit is closed: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

Unit Information

  • Equipment: Siemens and GE MRI systems
  • Patient Types: Emergency Department, Inpatient, Outpatient
  • Contrast Administration: Power injection contrast injections
  • Uniform: Charcoal Gray scrubs
Role Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. You may also be required to float across multiple campuses within the region.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 24 months of MRI experience is required
  • Proficiency in operating Siemens MRI equipment is required
  • Proficiency in operating GE MRI equipment is required
  • Certification: ARMRIT or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) with MRI specialty is required
  • Experience with EPIC or EPIC Radiant is required
  • Level II Trauma experience is required; Level I Trauma experience is highly preferred
  • Previous travel experience is preferred
Profile Requirements
  • Work history/resume must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 24 months of current MRI experience
  • Skills checklist specific to MRI must be included
  • ARRT or ARMRIT certification must be documented
  • Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager within the last 24 months is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License must be documented
