We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Male Caregivers to provide essential support to a client in his home. Empathy Hands Home Care is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Palmdale, Lancaster, Antelope Valley, and Santa Clarita areas. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. We are looking for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companionship. This is our agency's goal.
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in their home. This position requires a commitment to delivering personalized care while respecting the dignity and privacy of the clients you serve.
Duties
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting when necessary.
  • Medication reminder and monitor health conditions.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Skills
  • Experience in patient care or senior care is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of home community care practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Ability to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and this family
  • Compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding.
