Job description

HVAC Service Technician | $30.00 - $45.00 per hour + Spiffs

Position Overview:

Running Service and Maintenance calls on residential and light commercial equipment. We offer full-time, year-round work, company paid training to obtain and maintain industry certification including NATES and Electrical Trainee instruction and certified hours for a 06A/B License.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, with occasional overtime

What you will be doing:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
  • Dispatched to service and repair calls
  • Annual maintenance service
  • Consulting with customers on indoor air quality needs
  • Consulting with customers on repair and replacement options
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 3 + years of HVAC service experience
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Electrical trainee card with hours
  • Proficient at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment
  • Proficient understanding of HVAC functional design and ductwork modifications
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow city and county installation codes
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications Desired:

  • Certification of completion from trade school
  • 06B or 06A Electrical License
