Seeking Teacher Assistant
**GREAT NEW RATE - Starting at $18.00/hour**
Lilyfrog Learning Center (formerly KinderArt Pre-School) has moved to Portsmouth. We offer a supportive learning environment, small class sizes, and a great team atmosphere.
We are seeking an energetic, nurturing and hardworking individual for the role of Teacher Assistant.
Folks in this position are responsible for working in conjunction with the teaching staff in the classrooms.
A Teacher Assistant must be able to provide support to their assigned classrooms as needed, engage with children and families in a fun and professional manner, and follow the structure that the classroom teacher has outlined.

  • 35-40 hours/week FT schedule - May also have part time positions available
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday
  • High School Diploma or GED and previous experience with children a must
  • CPR/First Aid certification offered
  • RIELDS training and Early Childhood Ed credits preferred but will offer if not
  • Must pass state required background and health screenings

Competitive Benefits:

Essential Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently. Physical demands are in excess of sedentary work as position frequently requires walking, standing, reaching, fingering, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in the class room environments as well as supervising children in the playground during all seasons.
