Essential Responsibilities:
- Erect, install, and align structural steel components (beams, columns, platforms, pipe racks) per engineered drawings
- Perform bolt-up, torqueing, and structural assembly to specification
- Execute rigging and signaling for crane lifts, guiding loads safely into place
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and lift plans to support accurate installation
- Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit systems
- Operate and inspect tools, rigging equipment, and access equipment
- Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities
- Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor's high standards for safety and quality
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority
- Previous industrial construction experience
- Must be able to work from heights
- Fall Protection Certification
- Valid government ID
- Project online orientations must be completed
Work Conditions:
- Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off
- LOA & Travel Allowance available
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
