Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Cook to join our team at Hacienda Del Sol Resort in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time, hourly position.  As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and creating a variety of delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our guests. Your creative skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall dining experience at our resort.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $17 to $19 per hour, depending on experience. Pastry Cooks also receive additional service charges as part of their compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries and desserts according to recipes and standards set by the Pastry Chef
- Decorate and present pastries and desserts in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all pastries and desserts meet our high standards
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station and kitchen area
- Order and maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute special dessert menus for events and weddings
- Assist in training and mentoring new pastry staff members
Requirements:
- Previous pastry cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques and methods
- Ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
- Creativity and attention to detail for plating and presentation
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary education or training is a plus
