Description

 POSITION SUMMARY: Finance Administrator will primarily sell financing, GAP insurance, prepaid maintenance service contracts, vehicle service contracts and other protection products to customers. Additionally, the Finance Administrator will act as a Finance Clerk and assist with inventory while maintaining the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Use the "menu" style of selling on all customers which will legally disclose all products offered and sold.
  • Run credit reports for customers and assign contracts.
  • Get to and maintain management's recommended amount per copy, keeping penetration levels high by offering 100% of the product, 100% of the time to 100% of the customers.
  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources.
  • Clearly present financial documents to customers for review and signatures.
  • Review and proof signing of financial documents to ensure accurate completion.
  • Send contracts to the banks for funding and follow up to ensure approval from financial sources on all finance deals.
  • Print 40 day temporary permits with appropriate lien holders.
  • Must maintain control of cash, checks, and documentation until properly transferred to Accounting Office.
  • Assist Sales Manager with Used car inventory by updating car lists and DMS systems.
  • Prepare monthly reports as requested by sales management and business office.
  • Attend managers' meetings and morning sales meetings.
  • Keep track of all pending, incoming, and outgoing deals.
  • All other duties assigned by Manager

Requirements

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Must have at least 2 years of Automotive Sales experience

Finance experience preferred

Valid Driver License and clean driving record required.
