As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-focused Compliance & Resolution Specialist to join our team. This role serves a critical function within the Firm by helping ensure consumer concerns, client requests, and compliance-related matters are addressed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory and client requirements.
Position Summary
The Compliance & Resolution Specialist is responsible for reviewing and resolving escalated account matters, researching inquiries, and coordinating appropriate next steps across multiple departments and stakeholders. This role acts as a key resource for internal teams by evaluating available information, identifying resolution paths, and engaging clients when decisions or approvals are required.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate escalated consumer inquiries, account issues, and special handling matters to determine appropriate resolution strategies.
  • Research and analyze account information, client requirements, and applicable policies to support informed decision-making.
  • Initiate and coordinate next steps with internal departments, leadership, clients, and external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Serve as a resource for team members who require guidance on complex account situations and exception requests.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders regarding account status, recommendations, and resolution plans.
  • Ensure all actions are completed in accordance with Firm policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and account records within Firm systems.
  • Identify process gaps, recurring issues, and opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of procedures, workflows, and best practices.
  • Support compliance initiatives and contribute to maintaining the Firm's high standards of service and regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure timely and accurate resolution of matters.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Experience in legal services, financial services, collections, compliance, operations, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Experience researching and resolving complex account or customer service issues.
  • Experience developing, documenting, or improving business processes.
  • Paralegal experience or legal industry experience.
  • Familiarity with collection management platforms and legal case management systems including Cogent.
  • Familiarity with highly regulated environments and compliance-driven workflows.
