Job Summary:
AGI is a global food-based infrastructure company and is seeking a Group Product Manager for Digital Platforms. This role involves owning the strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of digital solutions, leading a team of product managers, and collaborating with various departments to deliver customer-focused products that drive commercial value.
Responsibilities:
• Defining a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to AGI strategy
• Translating customer and market insights into prioritized initiatives and business cases
• Driving lifecycle execution from concept through launch, scale, sustainment, and end-of-life
• Establishing product performance metrics and using data to improve outcomes
• Creating a strong product culture, operating cadence, and cross-functional alignment
• Define and communicate product vision, positioning, and a prioritized roadmap across the digital portfolio aligned to AGI strategy; make clear investment trade-offs based on customer value, risk, and ROI.
• Lead discovery with customers, dealers/channel partners, and internal stakeholders; synthesize voice-of-customer, competitive insights, and usage/performance data into requirements and roadmap priorities.
• Partner with Sales/Marketing on product launches, messaging, enablement, and field readiness; contribute to pricing/packaging inputs and adoption plans to ensure solutions succeed in market.
• Own roadmap governance and backlog prioritization; align stakeholders on sequencing, scope, and release plans; ensure decisions are transparent and supported by data.
• Drive end-to-end lifecycle management for software, connected hardware, and services, including launch planning, sustainment, continuous improvement, technical debt prioritization, and end-of-life planning.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Design, Manufacturing/Operations, Support, and Commercial teams to ensure timely delivery and strong customer experience; remove blockers and manage dependencies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; define roles and ways of working; build product management capability, standards, and discipline across the organization.
• Establish and track KPIs (e.g., adoption, retention, reliability, customer satisfaction, revenue/margin contribution, and delivery predictability); prepare and deliver executive updates on performance, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure products and processes align to AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and applicable compliance requirements.
• Direct engagement to validate problems, test concepts, confirm value, and gather feedback post-launch.
• Input into workflows, enablement needs, onboarding friction, and adoption drivers.
• Joint ownership of feasibility, technical approach, release planning, and quality/reliability outcomes.
• Collaboration on innovation, roadmap discovery, and new product incubation.
• Alignment for connected hardware integration, field/service implications, and lifecycle support.
• Launch planning, positioning, enablement, and feedback loops from the field.
• Insights on defects, root causes, customer friction, and prioritization of fixes and improvements.
• Regular reporting on product performance, investment needs, portfolio risks, and strategic decisions.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and emerging needs relevant to AGI Digital solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field;
• 10+ years of progressive experience spanning product management and/or engineering leadership in technology-enabled products (software, connected hardware/IoT, firmware, data-driven solutions, or industrial technology).
• Demonstrated success owning product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle execution across multiple products or platforms.
• Strong understanding of electronic hardware, firmware, and the integration of digital/software experiences with physical products.
• Data-driven mindset with experience defining and using product KPIs to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred:
• MBA preferred.
