About LumiMeds

LumiMeds is a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth startup focused on weight management and long-term metabolic health. We are building the next generation of e-commerce and clinical infrastructure from the ground up.

As an early-stage company, we move quickly, operate with limited layers, and expect high ownership from every team member. There is no bureaucracy here — decisions happen fast, priorities evolve, and builders thrive.

We are a remote-first, globally distributed team that values clarity, accountability, and people who take initiative rather than wait for direction.

Remote – United States Only
Must Hold 30+ Active U.S. State Licenses

Role Overview

We are seeking a U.S.-based, multi-state licensed Physician (MD or DO) to provide telehealth care for patients seeking evidence-based weight management and metabolic treatment.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct virtual patient evaluations

  • Review intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results

  • Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate

  • Provide ongoing follow-up and clinical oversight

This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly scaling telehealth organization focused on responsible, compliant growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct synchronous and/or asynchronous virtual consultations

  • Evaluate patient medical histories and relevant diagnostic data

  • Prescribe treatment in accordance with state and federal regulations

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

  • Document all clinical encounters accurately within the EMR

  • Maintain compliance with all telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards

  • Collaborate with care coordination teams to support positive patient outcomes

  • Participate as an active clinical member of LumiMeds' PC group

Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license

  • Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Active licensure in 30+ U.S. states (required)

  • Eligible and compliant to practice telemedicine in licensed states

  • Active DEA registration (multi-state preferred)

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health

Preferred Experience
  • Prior telehealth experience

  • Experience treating obesity, metabolic syndrome, or GLP-1–based therapies

  • Comfortable working within structured, compliance-forward telehealth workflows

What We Offer
  • Fully remote, flexible scheduling

  • Administrative and operational support

  • Modern EMR and streamlined clinical workflows

  • Competitive per-visit or contract-based compensation

  • Opportunity to help shape a physician-led telehealth PC group

Important Notes

All clinical decisions, including prescribing, are made solely at the discretion of the provider.
LumiMeds does not direct or mandate specific medical treatments.
This role is structured to support ethical, compliant, patient-first care.
