Job description


North Central Utility (NCU) is looking for an experienced alignment technician with exceptional repair knowledge and customer service skills for our DeForest, WI location. This individual is responsible for scheduling their own alignment and suspension work directly with customers and must be self-motivated with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

Work independently to perform heavy-duty vehicle alignments, frame and axle corrections, suspension repairs and rebuilds, including kingpins, shackle bushings and rear suspension bushings.  Must be proficient using Bee Line LC7500 computerized laser alignment system or equivalent.  Communicate directly with customers to schedule your work for the alignment pit and provide work details to service management for billing.  You may also mentor apprentice technicians on alignments and suspension repairs. 


This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring pre-employment and post-accident drug testing.

  • Day shift
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • No weekends


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience with Bee Line computerized laser alignment system
  • Able to work independently with limited directions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and clutter-free workspace
  • Willing to assist other service team members as needed
