Job description

Title: Data Integration Alert Specialist
Location: US (Remote)
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Position Summary
The Data Integration Alert Specialist is responsible for proactively monitoring, investigating, and resolving data integration alerts within the Sentri7 Drug Diversion
platform. This role ensures timely and accurate customer data ingestion, identifies data transmission issues, coordinates resolution efforts across Support, Implementation,
Development, and customer teams, and helps minimize disruptions that impact patient safety monitoring and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Alert Monitoring &Triage
  • Monitor Data Integration (DI) alert queues daily.
  • Prioritize alerts based on business impact, including:
    • Missing required files
    • Missing non-required files
    • De-identification errors
    • Database/ORA errors
    • Data freshness and timestamp issues
  • Validate alerts and determine whether customer action, support intervention, or development escalation is required.

Data Investigation & Troubleshooting
  • Analyze file ingestion failures and data processing errors.
  • Review file delivery patterns, load times, and processing results.
  • Investigate ETL, PNP, and orchestration-related issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and document findings.
  • Ability to identify recurring issues and see patterns.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve ingestion and database-related issues.

Customer Communication
  • Notify customers when required data files are missing or delayed.
  • Follow up on unresolved data delivery issues.
  • Provide status updates and document communications within support systems.
  • Educate customers on data ownership responsibilities and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Support, Implementation, Development, Product, and Data Integration teams to resolve complex alerts.
  • Escalate unresolved issues through established channels.
  • Participate in process reviews and alert optimization initiatives.
  • Support transition activities for newly implemented customers.

Process Improvement
  • Identify trends and recurring alert patterns.
  • Recommend automation opportunities to reduce manual effort.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting playbooks, knowledge articles, and workflow documentation.
  • Assist with feature request definition and validation related to alert management and data monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting healthcare applications, data integrations, or ETL processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret database, file processing, and integration-related errors.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with support ticketing and case management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Oracle database concepts, ETL processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Sentri7 Drug Diversion workflows.
  • Experience working with Epic, Cerner, Pyxis, Omnicell, Kronos, or similar healthcare data sources.
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams on technical investigations.

Success Measures
  • Reduction in unresolved DI alert backlog.
  • Improved response and resolution times.
  • Increased alert automation and process efficiency.
  • Improved customer data timeliness and quality.
  • Reduced customer impact caused by missing or delayed data feeds.
