Job description

Job Responsibilities
Position: Analyst III, Technical Applications - ABAP, Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc., 17955 Great Lakes Parkway, Hiram, OH 44234
Duties: Develop technical requirements for various systems. Implement and support the solutions developed, establish programming standards and assist functional analysts to evaluate solution for business requirements. Program SAP ABAP, ABAP/4 including Interface Programs, ABAP custom reports, user exits/enhancements, RFC's, BADIs, Smart Forms/Adobe Interactive Forms, WEB Dynpro, SAP Objects, Extractors, and ALE IDOC's. Develop and program SAP NetWeaver. Perform all tasks in the development cycle. Monitor application design and ensure compliance with architectural standards. Create and implement SAP solutions through program development and enhancement. Analyze, review and alter programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Document current developments and maintaining proper level of documentation for all changes including specifications and testing documentation. Define, implement and enforce best coding practices in ABAP. Assist functional analysts in business processes, configuration and integration with multiple SAP modules such as SAP PP, QM, MM, WM, EWM and HR. Control implementation of changes without business interruption. Collaborate with other team members to design and deploy effective IT solutions. Ensure stability and continuity in IT operations.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Science or related field. Must have: 5 years of experience developing NetWeaver programs and Web Services; 5 years of experience with NetWeaver development Infrastructure and NetWeaver developer studio; 5 years of SAP ABAP programming experience in the following areas: Workflow, Object Oriented programming, Data Dictionary, BAPI, BADI, RFC, ALE/EDI, IDOC, ALV programming, Classical and Interactive Reporting, BDC, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms (offline/interactive), Enhancement, User Exits, Dialog Programming, Interface/ABAP Proxy programming, ABAP Web Dynpro, Performance Tuning, Function Module development and Spool programming; 3 years of SAP ABAP/4 programming experience; 2 years of experience with Open Text VIM; and 3 years of experience in function business process design and implementation.
