This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.
The Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Specifics include:
  • Handle manual or operational production tasks according to guidelines to ensure smooth processes
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards
  • Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitor output quality and identify, discard, or re manufacture faulty products
  • Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
  • Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations to align with business objectives
  • Complete all required training and maintain organizational compliance
  • Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
  • Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following SOPs, maintaining complete documentation, and performing rigorous quality control

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Work Hours: 3rd Shift - 8 Hours 10:30 PM EST - 6:30AM EST (Sunday night - Thursday night)
  • Location: Onsite
