The Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF) is committed to making remote sensing data accessible, and we're seeking a temporary detail-oriented administrative assistant to help achieve our mission in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the administrative team, you will play an important role in supporting day-to-day operations for ASF, ensuring seamless workflow and contributing to the team's overall efficiency and success.

To thrive in this role, the candidate should enjoy working in a high-energy team environment that serves as the point of contact for administrative operations. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are important for interacting and corresponding with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate should use their advanced knowledge of administrative practices to manage complex travel logistics, coordinate various events, and assist with purchasing and procard reconciliation. The candidate should have intermediate computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, database querying, and specialized software such as travel and/or purchasing systems.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Education, training, licensing, and/or certification depend on the position. All positions require at least a High School diploma or equivalent. Additionally, the candidate must possess the appropriate training and/or education required for the position.
