Job description

Role Description

Front End PIC will provide and ensure exemplary customer service and satisfaction, while scheduling and supervising team members of the Front End. Additionally the Front End PIC will supervise store personnel and security in the absence of management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Maintains personal contact with customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction including special orders and customer complaints.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and recommends personnel actions such as wage administration, promotions, or disciplinary action as needed.
  • Trains and ensures training of team members.
  • Monitors and evaluates cash handling.
  • Follows safety and security procedures and ensures procedures are followed by team members.
  • Assists Front End to ensure customer needs are being met and flow of customers through the registers is adequate.
  • Monitors overall security of the store in the absence of management.
  • Handles customer questions and/or complaints.
  • Communicates daily tasks and goals to the Night Shift PIC and team members.
  • Conducts periodic walks of departments to ensure product is filled to the proper level to ensure customer service.
  • Supervises personnel throughout the store in the absence of management.
  • Assists in other departments of the store as necessary.
  • Performs other functions as necessary or assigned.

Experience/Education:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 5 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Customer Service skills preferred.
  • Must be 21+ years old

Working Environment
Work is performed in a store setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders, frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds below waist, up to 75 pounds at waist/chest and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
