Job description

Position Summary

The Fire Alarm Foreman is responsible for leading and overseeing the installation, coordination, and execution of fire alarm systems on new construction projects, with a strong focus on multi-family and high-rise buildings. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and company standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong field experience, capable of managing crews, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise fire alarm installation crews on active construction sites

  • Oversee installation of fire alarm systems in multi-family and high-rise new construction projects

  • Coordinate daily activities with project managers, general contractors, and other trades

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate system installation

  • Ensure all work complies with NFPA codes, local regulations, and company standards

  • Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality of work

  • Identify and resolve installation issues in a timely manner

  • Maintain job site safety and enforce safety protocols

  • Train, mentor, and develop junior technicians and installers

  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site

Required Qualifications
