Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Response

As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Response in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fri 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
