Job description

We are currently seeking anย Alarm Monitor Technician (27004) to support our Crane, Indiana customer. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact between public safety and other local tenant commands and maintain radio communications associated with the daily security and special security operations.

This role requires in-person support.ย ย 

Duties:

  • Familiarity with standard police and fire protection/prevention techniques and practices relating to various types of emergencies to enable incumbent to understand and relay information accurately during multi-agency response/recalls
  • Operate communication equipment to include: radio console, portable radios, secure telephone equipment, and must be able to send electronic messages and alerts
  • Provide after hours support for AOC and track NSWC and CAAA trucks for NEW, drop-off, storage and pickup
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communications
  • Understanding of several duress codes and the knowledge to take the proper actions for unannounced alarms
  • Must be Proficient in Windows computer system
  • Must have a working knowledge of ESS (Electronic Security System): CCTV โ€“ Electronic Access Control System
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to change shifts with limited notification
  • Must participate in continuing education and training courses
  • Must demonstrate oral and written (print and cursive) proficiency in the English language

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant and related experience

This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination.ย  As such Under the SCA selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit. Precise Systems is meeting that benefit through the use of a bona fide plan which includes certain insurance coverage.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
