Summary
Title: Construction Engineer ID: 9931 Location: Moody
Description

High Tide Oil Company, Inc. is currently hiring for a full time Construction Engineer to oversee and manage all current construction jobs as well as all future construction endeavors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects
  • Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs
  • Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections
  • Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager
  • Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • Overseeing construction engineering processes
  • Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and OSHA
  • Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget
  • Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs
  • Presenting construction project progress updates to Corporate Management
  • Responsible for design, development, implementation and analysis of technical products and systems
  • Performing engineering design evaluations and preparing technical specification drafts
  • Provide recommendations for alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate engineering documentation
  • Ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Working experience in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read and comprehend mechanical and construction plans, drawings and specifications
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and adjust schedule to consistently meet deadlines om a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Current and Valid Driver's License required
