Job description

Salary: 15-20

Division 7 Construction, Inc. is a commercial subcontractor primarily focused on firestopping, waterproofing, caulking, expansion joint installation and Division 10/Specialties installation. The company is based in Birmingham, AL, but performs work across the United States. D7 is known for professional, quality work and has extensive experience in health care construction with nationally ranked General Contractors.

Our ideal candidate will have prior commercial construction experience.

Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Help to generate quality work
  • Installing waterproofing and firestop material in a commercial construction setting
  • Caulking and upkeep of caulking tools
  • Operating various pieces of equipment
  • Moving/climbing ladders and/or scaffolding
  • Working in tight and/or high up spaces
  • Follow established job site safety regulations while wearing safety equipment (hard hat, safety shirt/vest, eye protection, safety harness, etc.)
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Material Management
  • Work Documentation
  • Communicate with the rest of the construction team and the customer

Required Skills and Qualifications, but are not limited to:

  • Good work ethic
  • Common sense
  • Time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift 50 LBs or over
  • Valid US drivers license
  • Travel as needed, up to 2-3 weeks at a time
