Locum Physician Maternal Fetal Medicine

Position Type: Locum

Location: Richmond, VA
Shift: Monday Friday 8a 4:15p Clinic + Nightly Weekday Call & 24hr Weekend Call

Position Details:
Patient Population: High-Risk Pregnancy (95% High Risk)
Setting: Office & Inpatient Hospital Coverage
Responsibilities: Clinic coverage, high-risk pregnancy management, call coverage, inpatient consults
Required Procedures: Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, Cerclage (preferred), management of pre-eclampsia, multiple gestation, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, birth defects, high-risk vaginal and cesarean births
EMR System: EPIC, Viewpoint
Support Staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team, 1 rotating NP
Days Per Month: Based on Open Dates
On-Call/Weekends: Required

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible MFM Required
