FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with multiple locations in the US, has an immediate need for multiple Aircraft Fueler positions for aircraft fueling at its Atlanta airport operation. Aircraft Fuelers are responsible for fueling the aircrafts of our clients in a safe and efficient manner.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Fuel and service aircraft before departure using airport fueling equipment and ground service equipment.
  • Communicate with the airport dispatch team and other airport personnel.
  • Record fueling data and fuel dispensing data per aircraft using provided handheld tools.
  • Record flight data such as destination, flight number, etc.
  • Conduct safety checks on service equipment such as fueling carts.
  • Handle fueling hoses and carts along with other airport fueling equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older;
  • Reliable transportation;
  • Eligible to work in the United States;
  • Valid state driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record;
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and federal fingerprint background check.

Physical Qualifications:

  • Capable of regularly lifting 30 pounds overhead and 50 pounds to waist level;
  • Capable of being in an automated lift up to 26 feet;
  • Must be accustomed to and able to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift;
  • Ability to work in an outside environment, with exposure to hot and cold temperatures and inclement weather;
  • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms;
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus);
  • Ability to work with moderate to high noise level at various times;
  • Be able to tolerate occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
