Position Summary

Huntleigh USA is seeking dependable and customer-focused Passenger Services Agents to join our team at Huntsville International Airport (HSV). The Passenger Services Agent is responsible for assisting airline passengers who require wheelchair assistance, mobility support, or additional guidance while traveling through the airport.

This role provides essential customer service by safely transporting passengers throughout the airport, assisting with baggage, providing directions, and ensuring passengers receive professional and compassionate support. Passenger Services Agents must maintain compliance with Huntleigh USA, airline, airport, and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) safety and security requirements while delivering outstanding service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely transport passengers to and from designated airport locations while remaining aware of safety hazards.

  • Provide wheelchair and aisle chair assistance to arriving and departing airline passengers.

  • Assist passengers in and out of wheelchairs while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.

  • Provide baggage assistance for passengers, including support for groups or teams when needed.

  • Assist passengers with hearing or visual impairments by providing guidance and support.

  • Escort passengers to required locations, including departure gates, restrooms, restaurants, and animal relief areas.

  • Provide professional customer service and information to passengers, airline employees, and airport personnel.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and gate agents to coordinate passenger assistance requests.

  • Maintain accurate wheelchair logs and complete incident reports when required.

  • Follow all TSA checkpoint screening procedures and airport safety regulations.

  • Retrieve and return wheelchairs to designated staging areas after use.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (may vary by location).

  • Reliable transportation required.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol testing as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations.
Must have reliable transportation
