Schedule: Overnight - Sunday and Monday, 8:00p-4:00a
Position Summary
TRIDENT is actively seeking an Overnight Unarmed Security Officer to provide professional safety and protection services at the Executive Lodge Apartments community. This role involves both mobile (vehicle) and foot patrols, so the ability to operate a company vehicle is required. We want someone who is initiative-driven, consistent, and truly committed to delivering exceptional service on every shift. This role requires attentive observational skills, a measured and composed approach, the ability to act decisively when situations escalate, and excellent communication skills.

PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Conduct both mobile (company vehicle) and foot patrols throughout the property to sustain a visible security presence and reinforce a safe, orderly environment.
  • Stay current on all post orders, shift pass-down notes, and any site-specific communications relevant to your assignment.
  • Offer strong, attentive customer service to residents, clients, colleagues, and members of the public - including responding to questions, providing directions, and offering general support.
  • Log and direct resident and public questions or concerns to the appropriate TRIDENT representative or on-site contact.
  • Thoroughly document all incidents and complaints, ensuring proper escalation to TRIDENT and the Client through the right channels.
  • Control and monitor access for authorized residents, vehicles, and guests entering the premises.
  • Contribute to a hazard-free worksite and ensure all personnel on-site are in compliance with PPE requirements.
  • Provide first aid, CPR, and AED assistance in response to any medical emergencies that arise.
  • Inspect all interior and exterior doors and gates to confirm they are secured properly and operating correctly.
  • Conduct detailed walkthroughs of interior and exterior areas to identify potential hazards, property damage, maintenance issues, or abnormal conditions.
  • Use the proper chain of command to report and escalate incidents involving suspicious behavior or individuals.
  • Carry out any additional assignments as directed by TRIDENT leadership.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous security experience is a plus.

LICENSE & DRIVING CREDENTIALS
  • Must already possess a valid ASRB Guard Card within 30 days of hire and keep it active throughout the full term of employment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Alabama Driver's License and be able to operate a company vehicle for mobile patrols.

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended durations throughout the shift.
  • Availability on weekends and holidays is required as operational demands dictate.
