PURPOSE:
 
To coordinate and communicate the activities listed on the schedule. The Operations Coordinator is a key component to the execution and delivery of requested service items. Requests that are submitted via phone, email, ARINC, text message (including other resources introduced to facilitate communication) are the responsibility of the Operations Coordinator to receive and deliver to the corresponding team member(s).
 
 SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Anticipate and ensure that all ramp operations are delivered on time including fuel, ground power, ground transportation, lavatory, potable water, ice, coffee, papers and catering, etc. These items must be communicated to ramp lead in a timely manner. Follow up on service completion must be done
  • Input and update reservations into schedule programs and software
  • Use proper etiquette while communicating via email, radio, etc.
  • Assist customers with requested services such as catering, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, etc.
  • Responsible to keep department manager informed by reporting lapse in service as soon as possible
  • Communicate daily briefings with updates and hand downs
  • Maintain a high standard of professional appearance at all times

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 1 year within either Customer Service or Line Service department or applicable experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Adaptability and availability to cover shifts at short notice
  • Available to work weekends/holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be very organized
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Must be able to accomplish tasks with little or no supervision on-time and quickly without compromising safety
  • Must be able to work as an effective member of a team and be able to receive constructive criticism from peers
  • Must be able to recognize and prepare for changes to their environment and adapt their plans and strategies in order to accomplish tasks
