AirNet II is a renowned aviation leader and part of the Kalitta family of companies, specializing in scheduled and on-demand cargo charter services. The position will be based in Chesterfield, MO (SUS). Operating a fleet of Beechcraft Barons and Bombardier Learjets, AirNet II is a premier provider of industries that require immediate turn-time and specialized handling.


Job Summary:

AirNet II A&P Mechanics will insures inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with the appropriate aircraft maintenance manual, company policies and procedures, and the Repair Station manual.


Functions/Responsibility:

  • Preflight and post flight checks for the aircraft
  • Discrepancy repair on the aircraft
  • Safely work in a shop environment using tools and equipment as necessary
  • Complete assigned tasks outdoors and in inclement weather if required
  • Insure that work performed gets inspected by the appropriate aircraft inspection personnel
  • Complete required documentation for work performed
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair aircraft and/or engines as assigned
  • Complete required training as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Use basic computer skills to complete and document tasks
  • Work productively individually or with an assigned crew
  • Works with integrity and desire to maintain a high quality standard
  • Report failures or deficiencies immediately
  • Pass background check and random DOT drug testing
  • Overtime and/or weekend work may be required
Requirements:

Education Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses & Document Requirements:

  • A valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • A&P License

Experience & Professional Skill:

  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience
  • Experience with Baron, Falcons, and Learjet 30 series, preferred

Work Environment & Culture Skills:

  • Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
  • Understand, read and write English
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized and able to manage and be managed
  • Ability to multi-task, respect, and maintain confidentiality
  • Service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude
  • Communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment

Location Requirements:

  • Operation based in Chesterfield, MO at Spirit of St Louis Airport (SUS)
  • There is no ability to work from home
  • There will be no relocation package for this position

  • Must have jet experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
