Assiste le responsable des comptes des compagnies aériennes dans les opérations quotidiennes du front office. Accueil des clients et contacts téléphoniques dans une attitude courtoise et professionnelle.

Tâches et responsabilités essentielles :

Examiner les manifestes, les connaissements et les lettres de transport aérien afin de déterminer les procédures de travail pour l'acceptation ou la libération du fret.

Compiler les documents et saisir les données pour les expéditions de fret à l'importation ou à l'exportation.

Lire et interpréter les instructions de chargement relatives au poids et au centrage de l'avion, les étiquettes d'identification des matières dangereuses, les manifestes de chargement de l'avion et se familiariser avec l'acheminement du fret.

Accélérer l'expédition du fret depuis l'entrepôt et aider les clients à suivre leurs expéditions.

Informer le destinataire ou son représentant des dates d'arrivée des expéditions, des exigences en matière de dédouanement et du poids des expéditions.

Saisir les transactions pour la facturation au destinataire et au client de la compagnie aérienne avant la libération du fret.

Autoriser l'approbation finale pour la libération du fret.

Effectuer les procédures d'acceptation pour les expéditions de marchandises à l'exportation.

Aider les clients au comptoir d'accueil, notamment pour les demandes d'enlèvement et de livraison.

Prépare les factures pour les frais, les clients des compagnies aériennes et la direction concernant les mouvements de fret.

Collabore avec l'ASFC, Transports Canada et d'autres organismes gouvernementaux pour dédouaner les expéditions.

Accueille les vols afin d'échanger les documents nécessaires.

Reconnaît les marchandises dangereuses à la réception.

Suivre les formations obligatoires en matière de sécurité et autres, selon les besoins.

Doit savoir conduire et posséder un permis de conduire, être disponible 7 jours sur 7, y compris les jours fériés, et connaître le français.

Exigences :

Être âgé d'au moins 18 ans.

Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études secondaires, d'un GED ou d'une expérience professionnelle équivalente.

Être capable de parler, lire et écrire couramment l'anglais et le français.

Être capable d'effectuer des tâches répétitives.

Être flexible et disponible pour travailler tous les quarts de travail, y compris les week-ends et les jours fériés.

Être capable d'obtenir et de conserver toutes les habilitations de sécurité requises et de passer avec succès une vérification des antécédents par Transports Canada.

Permis de conduire valide sans infraction au cours des 5 dernières années.

Connaissance ou capacité à apprendre à travailler dans un environnement informatique de gestion du fret.

Assists the Airline Account Supervisor in the day to day operation in the front office. Front facing with customers and telephone contact to be delivered in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Examine manifests, bills of lading and air waybills to determine work procedures for accepting or releasing cargo.

Compiles documents and data entry functions for import or export cargo shipments.

Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests and cargo routing familiarization.

Expedites shipment of cargo from Warehouse and assists customers in tracking their shipments.

Notifies consignee or representative concerning arrival dates of shipment, customs clearance requirements and weight of shipment.

Enter transactions for billing to consignee and airline customer prior to release of freight.

Authorizes final approval for cargo release.

Undertake acceptance procedures for export cargo shipments.

Assists customers at the front counter including pick-up and delivery requests.

Prepares invoices for charges, airline clients and management regarding freight movements.

Work with CBSA, Transport Canada and other governmental agencies to clear shipments.

Meets flights in order to exchange documents as required.

Recognizes dangerous goods upon receiving.

Complete mandatory security and other training as required.

Must drive and have a drivers license, be available 7 days a weeks including holidays and must know French.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English & French proficiently

Capable of repeating repetitive tasks

Must be flexible and available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays

Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances and passing a Transport Canada background check.

Valid driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years

Familiarity with or ability to learn how to work within an IT cargo system environment.

Proficient in MS Office
