Lead From the Front
Are you the type of leader who believes the best way to earn respect is by working alongside your team?
At SkyHop Global, we're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to jump in when needed. This is a true player-coach role-someone who spends as much time developing people, solving problems, and supporting daily operations as they do reviewing reports and managing performance.
You don't need transportation experience. We're looking for a proven leader who knows how to build strong teams, hold people accountable, coach employees to success, and create a culture where safety, service, and teamwork come first.
You'll lead a team of up to 35 drivers, ensuring every shift runs smoothly while developing employees and delivering an exceptional experience for our airline partners.
What You'll Do
Lead People
  • Directly lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 35 employees.
  • Build a positive, accountable culture through regular coaching, recognition, and performance management.
  • Be visible, approachable, and actively involved in the day-to-day operation.
Be a Player-Coach
  • Lead from the floor-not behind a desk.
  • Step in to solve operational challenges, support your team during busy periods, and remove obstacles to success.
  • Create schedules, adjust staffing, and ensure every shift is properly covered.
Drive Operational Excellence
  • Ensure safe, reliable, on-time service every day.
  • Make sound decisions quickly in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.
  • Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and execute solutions.
Build Relationships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for airline partners.
  • Resolve issues professionally while maintaining outstanding customer service.
  • Foster strong working relationships with employees, customers, and company leadership.
Promote Safety
  • Maintain a culture where safety is always the top priority.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  • Conduct routine observations, coaching, and performance follow-up.
What We Offer
  • $75,000 Annual Salary
  • Monthly Performance Bonus
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program
  • Career Advancement with one of the nation's fastest-growing transportation companies

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, customer service, or another fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading teams of 25-35+ employees.
  • Demonstrated success with scheduling, employee coaching, performance management, and accountability.
  • A leader who enjoys being on the floor with the team-not behind a desk.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
