Position summary:


The Account Manager will drive new business development, identifying and securing enterprise-level Travel & Tourism clients - from initial prospecting through contract execution.


In parallel, the role will serve as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of existing clients, focusing on expanding partnerships, introducing new AI-enabled and digital solutions, and increasing account value through consultative engagement.


This position focuses on global, enterprise-level Travel & Tourism organizations including airlines, hotel groups, cruise operators, destination brands, and travel technology providers. The role requires a commercially-driven professional capable of engaging Digital, Marketing, eCommerce, and Operational stakeholders in conversations around global growth, workflow modernization, and scalable content and technology solutions.


Position responsibilities:


Business Development (60%):
  • Identify and engage Travel & Tourism enterprise prospects
  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, industry networking, digital outreach, and participation in trade events
  • Adopt a consultative sales approach from qualification through negotiation and contract execution
  • Develop an understanding of client business models and identify and pitch international growth strategies
  • Position TransPerfect's AI-enabled content, technology, and global solutions within broader digital transformation and operational initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to structure and close complex, multi-service enterprise agreements
Account Growth & Client Management (40%):
  • Serve as a strategic partner for assigned clients, aligning solutions with client needs
  • Monitor account performance and proactively identify and drive expansion opportunities through cross-sell and up-selling activities
  • Collaborate with Production and Technology teams to support smooth implementations and contribute to client satisfaction
  • With the support of Management, define pricing strategies, participate in contractual discussions, and revenue forecasting with Accounting teams

Essential skills & experience required:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent
  • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build, develop, and maintain long-term professional relationships
  • Results-oriented and comfortable working in target-driven environments
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

  • Experience using CRM and sales intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, or similar tools)
