Sparkchasers is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team. In this role, you'll perform inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on customer's aircraft to ensure the highest standards of safety and airworthiness are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
     
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and execute corrective actions
     
  • Document all work performed in compliance with FAA requirements and company procedures
     
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
     
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to support efficient fleet operations and minimize downtime
     
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay current with regulatory and technical updates
     

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States for Sparkchasers
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required
  • 1+ year of relevant experience preferred (recent graduates considered)
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and general aviation maintenance practices
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings as needed
