Working with cross-functional engineering teams, you'll provide the technical expertise needed to validate structural integrity and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

  • Perform structural analysis using classical hand calculations and finite element methods (FEM).

  • Analyze primary and secondary aircraft structures for static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance.

  • Prepare structural substantiation reports, engineering documentation, and technical presentations.

  • Support design reviews, structural sizing, and load path development for new and modified aircraft structures.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the design and certification process.

  • Support certification activities in compliance with FAA, EASA, and TCCA requirements.

  • Perform Material Review Board (MRB) activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of stress engineering experience in the aerospace industry.

  • Proficiency with FEM tools such as Patran, Nastran, Nasgro, or Altair.

  • Experience with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong understanding of aircraft structural load paths, static analysis, fatigue, and damage tolerance.

  • Knowledge of civil aircraft certification requirements and certification processes.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred:

  • Material Review Board (MRB) experience.

  • Experience in an aircraft integration role or similar cross-functional engineering environment.

Why Join PDS Tech Commercial?

  • Partner with a leading aerospace innovator on cutting-edge aircraft programs.

  • Work on complex engineering challenges that directly impact aircraft safety and performance.

  • Collaborate with experienced engineering professionals in a culture built on innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence.
