Job description

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team at Beale AFB California, As a U-2 Aircraft Modification Technical Lead. You will be responsible for providing critical planning and execution of U-2 Depot-level modifications and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO).
What You Will Be Doing
-Serve as intermediary between the technicians, CFT Site Lead, and customer while assisting technicians with day-to-day activities.
-(This is a working Technical Lead Position) Applicants will be skilled in aircraft electrical systems, aircraft wiring maintenance and or Structural maintenance build up for MOD Aircraft.
-Complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures and local operational instructions.
-Perform troubleshooting on systems and components on the aircraft as required.
-Responsible to support all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft.
-Responsible for providing status of work accomplished to CFT Lead and customer
-Assist with product discipline, housekeeping, HAZMAT accountability, Tool & FOD controls, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
-Must be able to work and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with customer and personnel at all levels. Must read, write and speak English fluently.
-Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields.
-Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
-This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
-Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting and must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
