JOB TITLE: Aircraft Systems – Early Career – $5K Relocation Bonus
LOCATION: North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $26-31/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual operations.

  • Install parts and assemblies including landing gear, control surfaces, exterior panels, interior components (carpets, stowbins, sidewalls, lavatories, galleys, seats).

  • Install aircraft system components such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.

  • Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment (screwdrivers, ratchets, power tools, multimeters, continuity testers).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Typically 1+ year of related work experience or equivalent (vocational school/Associate acceptable).

  • 6+ months experience using computer applications (Internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or similar).

  • 6+ months experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.

  • 6+ months experience in advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical work using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

  • 6+ months experience in structural parts fabrication and assembly processes/procedures.

  • Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

  • Ability to perform physical tasks: kneeling, bending, reaching overhead, climbing/balancing (ladders, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching, twisting, standing, and walking.

  • Lift/carry up to 35 lbs.

  • Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
