Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME Opportunity in Wichita, KS

  • Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)
  • IA Stipend 2,080
  • Lead stipend 6,240
  • Sign-On Bonus 12,500  
  • Schedule M-F or 4/10

We're hiring a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet of aircraft. This Lead technician will be qualified to support our King Air C90 airframe. This is a key role in ensuring and managing our team so they can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Five (5) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience 
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State issued Driver's license 
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • King Air C90 maintenance experience 
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
