Aircraft Painter

Full-Time | On-Site | Kenmore, WA | $26 – $38 per hour

Kenmore Air is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our maintenance and restoration team. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to quality in every coat. If you take pride in a perfect finish and want to work on iconic aircraft in a one-of-a-kind Pacific Northwest setting, this is your role.

What You Will Do

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming

• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to aircraft exteriors and interior components using spray equipment and other application methods

• Mix, match, and blend paints and coatings to specification

• Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and compliance with drawings and customer requirements

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards

• Document work performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements

• Maintain spray equipment and paint shop in clean, safe working order

What You Must Bring

• Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft, automotive, or industrial painting

• Proficiency with spray equipment and surface preparation techniques

• Knowledge of paint mixing, application, and finishing methods

• Familiarity with safety protocols including proper use of PPE, ventilation requirements, and hazardous materials handling

• Strong attention to detail and quality of finish

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings
