Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and maintain systems level models for environmental control and hydraulic power systems using Simulink, MATLAB, Python, among other tools.
  • PerformΒ analysesΒ relatedΒ toΒ thermalΒ management,Β airflow,Β pressureΒ control,Β fluidΒ dynamics,Β andΒ systemΒ integration.Β 
  • SupportΒ systemΒ architectureΒ definition,Β requirementsΒ development,Β andΒ verificationΒ planning.Β 
  • InterpretΒ andΒ applyΒ FAAΒ PartΒ 25Β regulationsΒ toΒ ensureΒ complianceΒ throughoutΒ designΒ andΒ development.Β 
  • LeadΒ technicalΒ interactionsΒ withΒ suppliers,Β includingΒ reviewingΒ designs,Β managingΒ deliverables,Β andΒ ensuringΒ  alignmentΒ withΒ programΒ requirements.Β 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support aircraft level integration and trade studies, including providing 3D layouts of equipment in CATIA.
  • PrepareΒ clearΒ technicalΒ documentation,Β analysisΒ reports,Β andΒ presentationsΒ forΒ internalΒ andΒ externalΒ stakeholders.Β 

Requirements

RequiredΒ QualificationsΒ 

  • Bachelor'sΒ orΒ Master'sΒ degreeΒ inΒ AerospaceΒ Engineering,Β MechanicalΒ Engineering,Β orΒ aΒ relatedΒ field.Β 
  • 8+Β yearsΒ ofΒ relevantΒ experienceΒ inΒ aircraftΒ systemsΒ engineering,Β fluidΒ systems,Β environmentalΒ controlΒ systems,Β hydraulics,Β thermalΒ systems,Β orΒ relatedΒ aerospaceΒ systems.Β 
  • StrongΒ experienceΒ withΒ Simulink,Β MATLAB,Β andΒ PythonΒ forΒ modeling,Β simulation,Β andΒ dataΒ analysis.Β 
  • SolidΒ understandingΒ ofΒ environmentalΒ controlΒ systems,Β hydraulicΒ systems,Β orΒ relatedΒ aircraftΒ subsystems.Β 
  • AbilityΒ toΒ workΒ independently,Β setΒ priorities,Β andΒ driveΒ tasksΒ toΒ completionΒ withΒ minimalΒ oversight.Β
