SUMMARY OVERVIEWย 

The Aircraft Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for supervising the cleaning of the aircraft interiors to ensure they adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards. This role involves leading and managing a team of aircraft cleaners, offering training and support as needed. The Aircraft Cleaner Supervisor is also responsible for inspecting aircraft post-cleaning to ensure the quality of work meets airline and regulatory guidelines. Additional duties include managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, coordinating with airline staff, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed on schedule.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Supervise a team of aircraft cleanersย 
  • Verify all cleaning procedures adhere to aviation standards and safety regulationsย 
  • Train new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipmentย 
  • Inspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness and report any maintenance issuesย 
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocksย 
  • Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize aircraft downtimeย 
  • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanlinessย 
  • Liaise with airline representatives and airport staff for cleaning requirementsย 
  • Handle and report lost and found items according to company and airport policiesย 
  • Provide feedback and performance evaluations for team membersย 
  • Respond to emergency cleaning situations as requiredย 
  • Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolutionย 
  • Cleaning side by side with team to ensure aircraft cleaning tasks are completedย 
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedulesย 
  • Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning teamย 
  • Working under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlinesย 
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for any special cleaning needsย

QUALIFICATIONSย 

  • 18 years of age or olderย 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.ย 
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.ย 
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)ย 
  • Minimum ofย 1ย year of supervisory experienceย 
  • At leastย 1ย year of experience in hospitality or aircraft cleaning servicesย 
  • Ability to accessย and interpret information in print and electronically, including theย useย ofย electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devicesย 
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansย 
  • Pass a background check and drug screenย ย 
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).ย 
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysย ย
