Pilatus is hiring an Accounting Associate to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing, payment, and posting of daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions in the Enterprise Software Program - Quantum by supporting the Accountant II. Additional duties include assisting with monthly financial closing process, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial report generation.  Take your career to the next level with Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd.       

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Process all Accounts Payable transactions including:

•  Reconciliation and entry of vendor invoices to approved purchase orders or approved invoices
• Communicate with vendors to resolve billing questions and discrepancies
• Payment of vendor invoices within agreed credit terms

Processing employee expense reports

• Reconciliation of the company purchase card expenses 
• Set up new suppliers and maintain existing suppliers in ERP system
• Process all Accounts Receivable transactions including:
• Daily posting of cash receipts
• Collections and work with customers to resolve invoice issues
• Respond to requests for credit references

• Record some journal entries
• Maintain financial records
• Reconciliation of assigned general ledger balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly AP and AR aging reports
• Assist with reconciliation of intercompany accounts with parent company
• Assist with annual procedure audit, annual financial statement audit, including audit schedule preparation, and responding to audit inquiries

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Cross train with the Accountant II to assist with month end close as necessary
• Assist with special projects as assigned by Director Accounting / Controller, Assistant Controller and or the Accountant II
• Assist at Front Desk to greet visitors and answer phones on occasion

Requirements

 Skills/Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business (Accounting concentration) or equivalent experience (1 - 3 years) including experience from the apprentice program
• Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail 
• Professional attitude with a demonstrated willingness to work in a support role 
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook

The salary range for this position is $23 - $27 per hour depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
