Superior Heating, Air Conditioning & Electric is a proud family owned business, seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We have been serving our community for over 30 years. We are looking for a professional that loves to be part of a team, a passion for helping others, aims to always do the right think for our customers, eager to learn and most of all enjoys coming to work!
As an HVAC ServiceTechnician, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, a company vehicle, tool account, monthly spiffs, company phone, company gas card and an IRA match plan.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role (4 years)
- Field service experience with the ability to run demand service calls
- Excellent communication and Customer service Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a van for transportation purposes
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning, appliance repair, plumbing, and mechanics
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
