JOB SUMMARY

Nippon Sanso Matheson is a safety conscious company.  The safety of our employees, Customers, and contract carriers is our first priority and paramount to our daily operations.

Nippon Sanso Matheson operates a network of air separation plants throughout the southern United States that manufacture liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.  There are 16 air separation plants located in the United States.  The National Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for working under the direction of the Director of Transportation to manage the repair, maintenance, and calibration of all company vehicles to ensure safe operation. The position is located remotely and reports to the Director of Transportation.



Essential Functions

Bulk Fleet Maintenance Manager

         Foster safe working environment and work with bulk Terminal Managers and Mechanics to maintain safety standards in the field.

         Coach and develop bulk Mechanics

         Improve the overall profitability of the organization through reduction in maintenance expense and vehicle downtime.

         Research vehicle failures and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat failures.

         Utilize the bulk maintenance software system to effectively manage bulk shop inventory.

         Responsible for approving and submitting large-scale (10k and up) repairs.

         Act as a subject matter expert and assist in developing best practices.

         Communicate closely with the Director of Transportation to ensure flow of critical information.
