These roles provide foundational training and skills development in various career fields such as aviation, maintenance, cybersecurity, and logistics. Entry-level Airmen typically complete Basic Military Training (BMT) followed by technical training specific to their assigned career field. These positions offer competitive benefits, educational opportunities, and career advancement within the U.S. Air Force.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Air Force entry level position?

To thrive as an Air Force Entry Level member, candidates generally need a high school diploma or GED, basic physical fitness, and the ability to pass background and aptitude tests. Familiarity with military protocols, communication systems, and basic computer use may be helpful, and all recruits complete standardized technical and physical training during boot camp.
