The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Chief, Space COMSEC Acquisition Program Manager (GG-1101-14) to work at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), C3I & Networks Program Management (HNP) at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland Located in Fort San Antonio, TX.
In this position you serve as a an Chief of the Space COMSEC Acquisition Management
Section. The incumbent performs an integral role in accomplishing organizational strategic goals and objectives and managing efforts which support acquisition and sustainment of cryptographic modernization programs. Provides program management oversight, acquisition and business planning and implementation analysis in the areas of the modernization and transformation of cryptographic modernization of the AF inventory of Type 1 cryptographic products.
This is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DOD Instructions 1400.25-V2007

Salary Range is $107,446 - $146,848 Annually based on experience.

• This position is Program Management, Level 3 and incumbent must meet appropriate certification requirements IAW the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) no later than 24 months after accepting this position. (Career Category A - Program Management).
• Employee is expected to meet Continuing Acquisition Education requirements.
• The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
RECRUITMENT KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):
• Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition management process and initiatives.
• Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DOD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process.
• Skill to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff in critical aspects of development and production, support of systems, subsystems, or equipment and to coordinate various aspects of systems acquisition such as engineering, contracting, financial management, configuration, test, and manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
