About the role 

Financial Aid Services (FAS) is seeking technically skilled consultants in PowerFAIDS and Jenzabar to support colleges and universities in strengthening the systems and technology that power financial aid delivery. In this role you will lead complex client engagements, providing strategic guidance and deep technical expertise to institutions navigating system modernization, compliance risk, and operational change. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy creating and delivering practical solutions that improve access and compliance.  


What You’ll Do 

  • Advise higher education clients on financial aid systems configuration, optimization, and integration  
  • Translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions 
  • Analyze, diagnose and resolve system, data, and workflow issues 
  • Improve workflows, reduce manual efforts, and help institutions modernize financial aid operations through smart system use and automations 
  • Configure, test, and validate system enhancements 
  • Support data reconciliation, controls, and reporting improvements 
  • Develop clear and actionable documentation, playbooks, and recommendations tailored to client environments 
  • Serve as a trusted technical partner to financial aid and institutional stakeholders 
  • Systems Priority: PowerFAIDS & Jenzabar

  • Extensive experience with PowerFAIDS and Jenzabar 
  • Extensive experience with other enterprise systems in higher education (Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, Colleague, etc.) a plus
