About the Role:

We are looking for a highly intelligent, resourceful, and AI-first AI Client Solutions Associate to join our team.

This is not a traditional customer success role where the primary responsibility is managing relationships or answering support tickets. We are looking for someone who can be given a problem, understand what is actually happening, determine the best solution, and take ownership of getting it resolved.

You will work at the intersection of clients, AI, product, and operations. You will help customers successfully use our technology, identify where they are getting stuck, use AI tools to solve problems faster, and work with our product and engineering teams to continuously improve the platform.

We care much more about intelligence, curiosity, resourcefulness, and ability to learn than having years of experience.

What You’ll Do:

Own Client Problems

• Become deeply familiar with our product and how customers use it.
• Help clients successfully onboard and use the platform.
• Investigate questions, problems, and unusual situations instead of simply escalating them.
• Identify the root cause of an issue before determining the solution.
• Take ownership of problems from initial identification through resolution.
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout the process.

Use AI to Work Better

AI should be one of your primary tools for getting work done.

You will be expected to:

• Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms every day.
• Research unfamiliar topics quickly.
• Analyze documents, data, customer questions, and workflows using AI.
• Create prompts and workflows that make repetitive work faster.
• Build simple automations when appropriate.
• Experiment with new AI tools and determine whether they can improve our processes.
• Continuously find ways to accomplish more with less manual work.

We don't expect you to know every answer. We expect you to be exceptionally good at figuring out how to find the answer.

Work With Product & Engineering

Because you will work directly with customers, you will often see product problems before anyone else.

You will:

• Identify recurring customer pain points.
• Determine whether an issue is a training problem, product problem, bug, workflow problem, or something else.
• Document problems clearly enough that engineers can understand and reproduce them.
• Recommend product improvements based on what customers actually need.
• Test new features and workflows.
• Help determine whether changes actually solve the original problem.
• Look for patterns across multiple customers rather than treating every issue independently.

Improve How We Operate

We want someone who constantly asks:

"Why are we doing it this way?"

and

"Could AI make this dramatically easier?"

You will be encouraged to:

Qualifications

We care more about capability than credentials.

You may be a strong fit if you have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• 0–5 years of professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools extensively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort learning new software and technology.
• Experience working directly with customers, clients, or internal stakeholders.
• The ability to manage multiple problems simultaneously without losing attention to detail.

Experience in accounting, tax, financial services, SaaS, technology, operations, or customer success is helpful but not required.

Programming experience is also not required, although technical curiosity and the ability to understand how software works are valuable.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a traditional customer service position.

We are not looking for someone whose default response is:

"I'll send this to engineering."

We want someone whose first reaction is:

"Let me understand what's happening and see if I can figure it out."

You will absolutely work with engineers when necessary, but we expect you to investigate first, gather the relevant information, and develop your own hypothesis about the problem.

This is also not a software engineering position. You do not need to be an experienced programmer. Your primary skill should be your ability to think, learn, communicate, and solve problems using modern AI tools.

Examples of Problems You Might Work On

One day you might:

• Help a client understand why an AI-generated result appears incorrect.
• Investigate whether the problem came from the customer's data, our product, or the underlying AI model.
• Use AI to analyze dozens of client interactions and identify a recurring issue.
• Create a new onboarding workflow.
• Test a new product feature before customers receive it.
• Create an AI prompt that eliminates a repetitive internal process.
• Work with an engineer to explain a bug you've identified.
• Research an unfamiliar tax or accounting workflow so you can understand a client's problem.
• Notice that five clients are struggling with the same feature and recommend that the product be redesigned.

The problems will change. Your ability to figure them out is the job.

Success in this role will primarily be measured by:
